One of my favorite things about a destination wedding like this wedding, is that it spans on a whole weekend instead of just a day. This means a whole weekend of activities for the bride & groom and their guests. It is an experience in and of itself, one that everyone gets to enjoy much more than they would enjoy a normal wedding day. Friday dinner, otherwise known as the Welcome Dinner, was the perfect opportunity for the guests to get to know each other and to relax after their journey (many guests have travelled from the UK and all over Europe, as well as from Romania). All this allows the wedding day experience to be more relaxed and intimate.

For this wedding though, we had an extra reason to celebrate on Friday night: the groom's birthday celebration! After an indulgent traditional Romanian dinner, the party moved around the camp fire, where the guests sang together and had the most wonderful time. With such a fun evening before the wedding, everyone is even more excited about the wedding ceremony and reception on the following day.

The decor was a romantic one, vibrant and full of life, a celebration of nature in and of itself.

One of my favorite things about Hadar Chalet is the fact that the bride and groom both get ready in the middle of nature, which ensures the photo sessions and always special. Drinking a cold glass of Prosecco with your bridesmaids, in the middle of nature, while getting ready to walk down the aisle is a truly special experience, especially for the nature lovers.

The bride and groom chose to have a symbolic ceremony, officiated by the maid of honour, while the best men was performing live. In my opinion, this type of ceremonies are the most authentic and emotional, both for the couple and their guests.

Hadar Chalet is well known for their barn weddings, because they have a special kind of energy. The Barn's decor is minimalist, which allows the space to be transformed entirely based on the wedding concept. Our concept was "Romantic Fairytale Wedding". The bride wanted an enchanted decor, which would harmoniously combine nature with magic.

The fairy lights which covered the barn, together with the candels, the barn's chandeliers and the greenery chandeliers helped us create exacly that vibe. The centrepieces, the glasses and the napkins were the touch of joy and color needed to complete the nature based decor provided by the green mountain surroundings. Together, they created the magical vibe the bride was dreaming of from the first moment she envisioned her wedding.
